Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Stitching Operator specializing in Bindery and Print Finishing, to operate and maintain our Müller Martini saddle stitching equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for machine setup, operation, quality control, troubleshooting and maintaining production efficiency while ensuring finished products meet customer specifications.

Experience operating Müller Martini saddle stitchers is strongly preferred.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating stitching and binding machinery to produce high-quality printed materials.

Your expertise will ensure efficient workflow, precise finishing and timely completion of print projects.

Duties

- Operate stitching, binding and finishing equipment to assemble printed materials with accuracy and efficiency
- Set up and adjust machinery according to job specifications, ensuring optimal performance
- Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards, making adjustments as needed
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery, troubleshooting mechanical issues promptly
- Assist with packaging finished products securely for shipment or distribution
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and improve workflow processes

Qualifications

- Previous experience operating Müller Martini saddle stitchers preferred
- Previous experience in manufacturing, print finishing or bindery operations is preferred
- Experience in commercial printing or post-press finishing is an asset




- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on machinery
- Familiarity with packaging procedures and warehouse operations is advantageous
- Experience operating forklifts or willingness to obtain forklift certification
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of machining processes related to print finishing is a plus
- Warehouse experience that demonstrates reliability and safety awareness
