BRAKE PRESS OPERATOR NEEDED URGENTLY IN AURORA

The Press Brake Operator sets up and operates press brake equipment to form metal parts to specification. This hands-on manufacturing role combines blueprint reading, basic math, machine operation, and quality checks to support accurate, dependable production.

Responsibilities

- Operate a press brake machine, following job instructions and protected work practices.
- Read blueprints, measure parts with calipers, and inspect finished work for accuracy and quality.
- Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to adjust setups, address routine issues, and support assembly.
- Coordinate material handling and production tasks with colleagues; Your impact: accurate parts help keep downstream manufacturing work on schedule.

Requirements

Required: Practical capability with press brake machine operation, blueprint reading, basic math, calipers, mechanical knowledge, hand tools, and quality inspection is essential for completing duties accurately.

Preferred: Related manufacturing or machining experience, plasma cutting, assembly, can support flexibility across production tasks.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
