Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain corrugated converting equipment and other manufacturing machinery. The ideal candidate has robust mechanical troubleshooting skills, experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and the ability to minimize equipment downtime while maintaining a safe and efficient production environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain corrugated converting equipment, conveyors, and facility support equipment.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production-related issues to minimize downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance, routine equipment inspections, and scheduled repairs.
- Repair and replace bearings, chains, belts, gearboxes, motors, pneumatic components, and other mechanical parts.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
- Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend long-term corrective solutions.




- Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate repair needs to supervisors.
- Collaborate with machine operators and production staff to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance skills.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission systems.
- Ability to read and interpret machine manuals, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Experience with PLCs, sensors, drives, and automated equipment is an asset.
- Welding and fabrication experience is an asset.
- Millwright (433A) licence is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work independently, troubleshoot effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and equipment reliability.
