LPI is looking for a driven Safety Coordinator with experience.

The individual in this role will be responsible for going to all sites to monitor and enforce safety! The candidate should have experience within the Construction Sector, preferably mechanical but its not required. Knowledge of Plumbing or HVAC safety procedures is considered an asset!

Technical Qualifications:

- JHSC Certification an asset
- Experience working with field technicians and office staff
- Must have a good working knowledge of safe work practices and safe work procedures
- Knowledge of the Construction Green Book and Regulations
- Experience with 4Safecom Systems or another safety platform considered an asset
- Responsible for employee orientation and maintaining training certifications
- Responsible for WSIB and accident/incident investigations
- Ability to collaborate with our 3rd party safety consultants: SmartCOR and 4S
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Able to connect with all levels of the organization while fostering a safety culture
- Promote and ensure all company procedures and safety rules are being adhered to
- Collaborate with the General Manager, Director of Construction and Operations
- Work as part of our team to ensure employee wellness and safety
