As Chief Operating Officer, you will report to the President and Owner of a North American importer and wholesale distributor. You will professionalize operations after purchasing, covering retail relationships, pricing and terms, inbound shipments, 3PL partnerships, warehousing, inventory, margin, and cash discipline. The first year focuses on documenting processes, establishing controls, and leading the office team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own retail customer relationships, pricing, and commercial terms
- Manage inbound shipments, 3PL relationships, warehousing, and inventory
- Strengthen margin, cash, reporting, and approval controls




- Map operations and write documented standard operating procedures
- Build the case for future category or retail growth

Requirements:

- Senior operations experience in distribution, wholesale, importing, or closeouts
- Hands-on ownership of post-purchase operations and inventory
- Responsibility for margin, cash, and reporting
- Experience creating repeatable processes from informal knowledge
- Ability to work in office in Montreal and travel to the US
