Design growth experiments at Tailscale as a Product Designer focused on activation, onboarding, and monetization in a fully distributed company.

You will become the second designer on Tailscale’s cross-functional Product Growth team. Working with Product, UX Research, and Engineering, you will deliver minimum-viable solutions, learn from experiments, and maintain a high craft bar. The work supports self-serve, product-led SaaS growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Draft product changes supporting existing growth initiatives
- Participate in research, experimentation, and iterative feedback cycles
- Generate experiment ideas addressing friction through prototyping
- Advocate for user needs through product recommendations
- Partner with cross-functional teammates to define goals and measure impact

Requirements:

- Three to five-plus years of product design experience
- Experience with onboarding, growth, or monetization design
- Hands-on A/B testing and behavioral analytics experience
- Experience with self-serve, product-led SaaS motions
- Distributed, asynchronous work experience
