Arc and Oak Millwork
Surrey
Arc & Oak Millwork builds high-end custom cabinetry and architectural millwork for luxury custom homes across the Lower Mainland. We’re a small, tight team that cares about craftsmanship, and we’re growing.
We’re looking for someone who wants to learn the whole shop, not just one station. You’ll rotate between cabinet assembly, CNC, spray finishing, and general shop support based on what the schedule needs. Experience in any one area is a plus, but attitude and willingness to learn matter more. We’ll teach you.
What You’ll Do
- Assemble custom cabinetry and millwork
- Load, run, and unload the CNC; label and sort parts
- Sand, prep, and spray finishes (lacquer, paint, stains)
- Edgeband, drill, and handle machine work
- Pack and load finished product for delivery
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe
- Help wherever the shop needs it that day
What We’re Looking For
- Flexible, takes direction well, wants to learn
- Reliable, on time, shows up ready to work
- Careful with detail; high-end work means no shortcuts
- Comfortable on your feet and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Basic tape measure and math skills
- Shop, woodworking, CNC, or finishing experience is an asset, not a requirement
- Reliable transportation to Surrey
What We Offer
- Hands-on training across every part of the shop
- A path to grow into a lead role as we scale
- Work on premium, one-of-a-kind projects
- A small team where your work gets noticed
How to Apply
Apply with your resume, a short 1 minute video, and a few lines on why you want to learn the trade. Photos of past work are a bonus.
KEY: Applications without a video will not be considered.
Along with your resume, submit a 1-minute video telling us who you are and why you’d be a good fit for this role. It doesn’t need to be polished; a phone video is perfect. Include a link (YouTube unlisted, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) in your application or cover letter.
