The Registered Dental Hygienist provides preventive oral care and supports patients in maintaining healthy smiles. This role combines attentive patient interaction, clear explanations, and accurate clinical documentation to help create a comfortable, well-coordinated dental visit.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental hygiene procedures and assess patients’ oral health, following established clinical protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care, adapting explanations to their needs.
- Document treatment and patient information accurately in Dentrix and communicate relevant updates to the dental team.
- Coordinate care with colleagues and support a welcoming, organized patient experience.
Experience
Required: Practical capability to provide dental hygiene care, communicate clearly with patients, maintain accurate records,
and use medical terminology in a clinical setting. Preferred: Dental office experience, including familiarity with Dentrix, plus exposure to orthodontics, pediatrics, or dental assisting; bilingual communication and customer service skills are valued. Tuesday 11-7pm
Wednesday 8-4pm
Thursday 8-4pm
Friday 8-4pm
2 Staurday's per month.
Pay: $50.00-$56.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 38.0 per week
