Job Summary

The Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper supports daily kitchen operations by keeping dishes, utensils, and work areas clean and assisting with food preparation and service. This hands-on role helps the kitchen team maintain an orderly workflow and serve meals smoothly.

Responsibilities

- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and food-preparation equipment; return clean items to their designated areas.
- Clean and organize kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas, following food safety and food handling practices.
- Assist with meal preparation, food preparation, and cooking tasks as directed by kitchen staff.
- Support serving and food service activities, restock supplies, and communicate kitchen needs to colleagues.

Qualifications

Required: Bring care, reliability, and attention to cleanliness when handling food, washing equipment, and supporting kitchen tasks. Follow directions, maintain an organized workspace, and work cooperatively during busy service periods. Preferred: Restaurant experience, kitchen experience, or food service experience is helpful, along with familiarity with cooking, serving, meal preparation, food preparation, food handling, food safety, or the food industry.

Pay: $17.60-$17.90 per hour
