Kaboom Wings Alliston is looking for a reliable, energetic Server / Bartender who can provide great service in a quick-paced sports bar environment.

We are looking for someone who is confident with guests, works well under pressure, communicates clearly with the team, and takes pride in doing things properly. This role is a strong fit for someone who can create a great guest experience while also recommending menu items, increasing sales, and keeping their section and bar organized.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Learn our menu, wing flavours, daily specials and drink offerings
- Make genuine recommendations and upsell food, drinks and add-ons
- Accurately enter all food and beverages into the POS
- Process cash, debit and credit transactions accurately
- Follow all policies regarding discounts, voids and complimentary items
- Monitor alcohol consumption and provide responsible alcohol service
- Check identification when required
- Handle multiple tables and bar guests efficiently during busy periods
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and FOH staff
- Resolve guest concerns professionally
- Complete opening, closing, cleaning and restocking duties
- Keep the dining room, bar and service areas clean and organized
- Help the team wherever needed during both busy and slower periods

What We’re Looking For





- Valid Smart Serve certification
- Previous serving or bartending experience preferred
- Strong customer-service and communication skills
- Comfortable recommending and selling food and beverages
- Able to stay organized while handling multiple guests at once
- Dependable and punctual
- Honest and accountable when handling alcohol, cash and inventory
- Positive attitude and willingness to receive feedback
- Able to work independently while also being a strong team member
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant and sports bar environment
- Availability for evenings, weekends and holidays is strongly preferred
- Clover POS experience is an asset but not required
