KEC TECHNICIAN – FULL-TIME | PRINCE ALBERT, SK

ABOUT US

Most cleaning companies cut corners. We built Crystal Sterling to be different.

Saskatchewan's commercial kitchens deserve more than rushed, out-of-town crews who spray and go. We deliver true top-to-bottom, NFPA 96-compliant kitchen exhaust cleaning — the kind that actually keeps kitchens safe, passes inspections, and protects restaurants from fire hazards.

We're one of Saskatchewan's fastest-growing kitchen exhaust cleaning companies, trusted by major restaurants and commercial kitchens across the province. Based in Prince Albert, we operate from Northern Saskatchewan to communities province-wide — and we're just getting started. If you want to get in early with a company that's growing fast and rewards the people who helped build it, this is your opportunity.

THE ROLE

This is a full-time position — and it isn't a typical cleaning job. Kitchen exhaust cleaning is a specialized trade — and we'll train you to be great at it.

You'll be working graveyard shift, typically 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, after commercial kitchens close for the night. That means quiet job sites, no interruptions, and the satisfaction of leaving a kitchen dramatically cleaner and safer than you found it.

Many of our jobs take us three or more hours from Prince Albert, which means road trips, hotel stays covered by the company, and a change of scenery — all while getting paid. If you thrive at night, work well independently, and take pride in doing a job right, you'll fit in here.

PAY STRUCTURE — THIS IS WHERE IT GETS INTERESTING

You earn a commission on every dollar of cleaning work you complete each night — and your rate goes up as you grow with us. There's no cap.

DAILY COMMISSION — 20%, RISING TO 25% AS LEAD TECHNICIAN

- Technician: 20% of daily service revenue

- Lead Technician: 25% of daily service revenue

Service revenue means the cleaning work itself. It does not include GST, parts and materials (such as hinge kits and access panels), or travel charges billed to the client.

Our technicians can earn between $23 and $35 an hour every night. The faster you work — without cutting corners — the more you earn per hour.

All training is paid.

OUT-OF-TOWN JOBS (3+ HOURS FROM PRINCE ALBERT)

When a job is three hours or more from Prince Albert, you get the following on top of your commission:

- Meal per diem: $60.00/day, paid non-taxable with your paycheque

- Hotel: Booked and paid directly by Crystal Sterling — zero cost to you

YOUR MINIMUM WAGE GUARANTEE

You will always earn at least Saskatchewan minimum wage ($15.70/hour as of October 1, 2026) for every hour worked, including drive time on local and regional jobs. If commission and travel pay for a pay period ever come in below that, we top you up. Overtime is paid in accordance with The Saskatchewan Employment Act.
