About Us
No Vacancy is a cocktail bar and restaurant on Ossington, part of the Ghost Entertainment hospitality group. We’re known for valuable drinks, warm service and a room that gets busy. We’re looking for a fast, reliable Barback / Support team member to keep the bar and floor running smoothly every night.

The Role
You’ll keep the bar team stocked and set up so they can focus on guests. You’ll also support the floor by running food and drinks during service. You’re always moving, you notice what’s needed before anyone asks, and you take pride in a clean, organized bar. You’ll report to the Bar Supervisor and the Manager on Duty.

What You’ll Do

- Stock and restock the bar before and during service: ice, glassware, garnishes, juices, syrups, beer, wine and spirits
- Run food from the kitchen and drinks from the bar to guests quickly and accurately, knowing table numbers and seat positions
- Help with opening and closing setup, including cutting garnish, batching prep, changing kegs and setting up the stations
- Run, polish and put away glassware so it keeps up with volume
- Keep the bar wells, back bar, floors and service areas clean, dry and safe throughout the shift




- Bus and reset tables, and help servers during peak periods
- Receive and put away deliveries, rotate stock (FIFO) and help with inventory counts
- Take out recycling, empties and garbage, and keep the back-of-house areas tidy
- Follow all health, safety and Smart Serve standards
- Jump in wherever the team needs you

What We’re Looking For

- Previous barback, busser, food runner or support experience is preferred, but we’ll train the right person
- Smart Serve certified, or willing to get certified before your first shift
- Able to work evenings, weekends and late nights
- Comfortable on your feet for long shifts, and able to lift up to 50 lbs (cases, kegs, ice)
- Quick, organized, and calm under pressure
- A team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Interested in learning cocktails and growing into a bartending role is a plus
