About Superior Roofing

Superior Roofing Ltd. is one of Calgary’s established and growing roofing and exterior construction contractors, specializing in commercial, residential, multi-family and restoration projects.

As our operations continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated, organized and hands-on Construction Field Supervisor / Site Coordinator to support our project management team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical construction knowledge who wants to advance into a leadership role.

Position Overview

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of daily site activities, coordinate trades, monitor workmanship and help keep multiple projects on schedule.

You will work closely with our project managers, acting as their eyes and ears in the field to ensure work is progressing safely, efficiently and according to expectations.

This is a field-focused coordination and supervision role, not a traditional office-based project management position.

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision & Coordination

- Conduct regular visits to multiple active construction sites.
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades, material deliveries and site access.
- Monitor project progress, schedules and daily productivity.
- Ensure crews have the information, materials and access needed to complete their work.
- Identify potential delays and proactively resolve day-to-day site issues.

Quality Control & Inspections





- Inspect workmanship against approved drawings and project specifications.
- Identify, document and follow up on deficiencies.
- Complete site measurements, progress inspections and photo documentation.
- Ensure sites remain clean, organized and professionally maintained.
- Escalate design conflicts and scope changes to the project manager before work proceeds.

Project Management Support

- Provide clear, concise daily progress updates.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating trades.
- Verify completed work and report outstanding items.
- Help manage deficiencies, site logistics and project closeouts.
- Reduce unnecessary site visits for project managers by handling routine field matters independently.

Safety & Accountability

- Monitor site conditions and reinforce company safety expectations.
- Report unsafe conditions and coordinate corrective action.
- Maintain qualified communication with clients, builders and subcontractors.

Qualifications

- 2–5 years of experience in construction, site supervision or trade coordination preferred.
- Practical knowledge of carpentry, roofing, siding, building envelopes or general construction.
- Ability to understand construction drawings,



specifications and scopes of work.
- Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple sites and competing priorities.
- Comfortable communicating with subcontractors, builders and project managers.
- Valid driver’s licence and satisfactory driving record.
- Basic computer skills and ability to provide digital site reports.
- Strong work ethic, reliability and attention to detail.

Experience in roofing, exterior construction, restoration or multi-family developments is an asset.
