The Role

Our Food Service Workers help create a welcoming dining experience for approximately 200 students plus faculty and staff on campus. The operation provides meal service throughout the week,



so we're looking for team members who enjoy variety and working as part of a close-knit team.

Your responsibilities may include:

- Preparing food and ingredients for meal service
- Light cooking and baking, including items such as cookies and other baked goods
- Setting up and maintaining food service areas
- Serving students, staff and guests
- Replenishing food and beverage stations
- Providing friendly, welcoming customer service
- Cleaning and sanitizing food preparation and service areas
- Dishwashing and maintaining the dish area
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
- Following food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assisting the culinary team wherever needed
- Other typical Food Service Worker duties

Most importantly, we're looking for someone with a great attitude. You don't need to be a chef. We want someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team, and genuinely likes interacting with young people.

Hours & Availability

This is a seven-day-a-week food service operation, with shifts generally scheduled between:

7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday

We are primarily recruiting for full-time team members, but we are also interested in people looking for part-time evening and weekend work.

Our management team understands that people have commitments outside of work and will make every reasonable effort to provide scheduling flexibility.

Candidates must have their own reliable transportation to and from the campus.

Public transit does not provide practical service directly to the location, so please consider transportation before applying.

- Have a valid Food Safety/FoodSafe certificate, which is preferred but not required at the time of hire. Training can be supported after joining the team.
