Sweet Jesus – Team Member

Sweet Jesus was born out of a love for experimentation. As leaders in the confectionery game, the goal is to combine conceptual thinking with high‑quality ingredients and products to create something that tastes and looks unlike anything you’ve ever experienced. Toronto‑born and globally grown, Sweet Jesus is the little ice cream shop that wouldn’t quit.

We’re looking for highly motivated, outgoing, and dynamic Team Members to join our crew.

Team Members are product aficionados, cross‑trained to work at the cash station, in the kitchen, and on the line as needed. As cashiers, they are the ultimate brand ambassadors, making people happy and keeping the line moving. On the food‑prep side, they deliver creative, over‑the‑top ice cream experiences by preparing ingredients and assembling cones to order.

Essential Functions

- Deliver the ultimate customer experience and represent the Sweet Jesus brand with enthusiasm
- Greet and thank every customer with a smile and eye contact
- Recommend and prepare over‑the‑top ice cream creations that wow every time
- Assemble cones and desserts to order following Sweet Jesus recipe specifications
- Maintain consistent product quality and presentation
- Engage customers with personalized service and solid product knowledge
- Follow all food handling, health, and safety guidelines




- Operate food preparation equipment including blenders, mixers, and freezers
- Stock ingredients and supplies
- Clean and sanitize blenders, tools, equipment, and work areas as needed
- Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle cash responsibly
- Balance float at the beginning and end of each shift
- Assist with merchandise display and general upkeep of the store

Requirements

- Must be at least 17 years of age
- 1–3 years of customer service or food service experience preferred
- Ability to lift 30–40 lbs regularly throughout shifts
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and scoop during assigned shifts
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.95 per hour

- Thornhill, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
