Job Summary
Dairy Queen is looking for friendly, reliable, and energetic individuals to join our team! As a Team Member, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by serving quality food and treats in a fast-paced environment. You'll be responsible for upholding DQ’s standards of cleanliness, food safety, and guest service while working as part of a fun and agile team.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take food and treat orders accurately.
- Prepare and serve menu items according to Dairy Queen standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, and blenders.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, dining areas, and restrooms.
- Handle cash, process payments, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed throughout your shift.
- Follow food safety and quality control procedures.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Uphold brand standards and provide a positive customer experience.
- Follow all company policies and health regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or customer service is a plus, but not required — we’re happy to train the right candidate!
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to excellent service.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
