We’re hiring Sanitation workers to support day-to-day sanitation operations in rapid-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing production equipment and maintaining a clean workspace.

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Hamilton, ON

Pay Rate: $18.75 per hour

Hours: Monday to Thursday (starts between 1pm and 3pm) - Friday as needed

What You'll Do:

***Must be comfortable working in production as needed***

- Wash and sanitize machines, tools, and production equipment after use including trays, counters, machines, work area, etc.
- Sweep, mop, and wash floors in the production and storage areas.
- Clean walls, drains, tables, and other surfaces regularly.
- Mix and use cleaning chemicals properly, following safety instructions.
- Wear gloves, masks, and other personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks as assigned.




- Report when tasks are completed or if problems are found.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste correctly.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

- Previous sanitation experience required.
- Previous sanitation experience in food manufacturing environment highly preferred.
- Must be flexible with start and end time of the shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 55lbs.
- Must be comfortable working in hot and cold environment.
- Must be comfortable working in production as needed
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours as required by this position.
