Summary
As a Shop Hand in a granite, quartz and stone countertop shop, you’ll support fabrication work.
Your impact: Careful shop support helps installation teams receive prepared stone components, supporting a smoother fit for customers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with countertop fabrication and preparation using appropriate hand and power tools.
- Support the handling and movement of stone materials around the shop.
- Help prepare components for assembly and installation.
- Keep tools and work areas organised and ready for shop tasks.
- Work with the team to support countertop fabrication.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or shop work.
- Mechanical knowledge is an asset.
- Forklift, heavy equipment, or warehouse experience is preferred.
- Assembly, machining, or construction experience is preferred.
