Job Summary

The Early Childcare Educator supports children’s learning, development, and participation in a welcoming classroom. The role combines attentive childcare with age-appropriate teaching, clear communication, and organized daily routines.

Responsibilities

- Provide attentive childcare and guide children through engaging early learning activities.
- Adapt teaching and classroom routines to support children with diverse abilities, including individuals with disabilities.
- Communicate with children, families, and colleagues in English as appropriate.

Skills

Required: Practical childcare, teaching, communication, time management, and organizational skills support protected, engaging classroom routines; help with everyday classroom tasks. Preferred: Experience working with children, classroom experience, early childhood education, special education, or individuals with disabilities can strengthen your contribution. English ability, leadership, and writing skills are valuable strengths for supporting children and collaborating with families and colleagues.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
