Registered Practical Nurse- Primary Care Location: Norfolk Family Medical -85 Norfolk Street, Suite 305

Employment Status: Regular Part-time with possibility of Full-time

Hours/Week: approx 15-24 hours/week (with the potential for more)

Salary: $26-30/ Hour (depending on experience/qualifications)

Our Family Practice Medical Clinic is seeking a highly-motivated, dedicated Registered Practical Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate values patient-centered care, and has a passion for supporting a diverse patient population in our community. The individual will be a key stakeholder in delivering high‑quality clinical care, providing patient education, and ensuring smooth, efficient nursing services in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) standards.

Core Responsibilities:

- Works as part of the primary health care team
- Demonstrates safe, quality practice
- Maintains smooth and efficient flow of patients through their appointments
- Provides safe administration of medications and immunizations, disinfection/sterilization of equipment and setting, client education and assists practitioners as requested.
- Triage clients to prioritize urgent needs




- Ensures adequate supply of common medications and medical supplies
- Specimen Collection
- Capable of working at Full Scope of RPN practice

Required Qualifications:

- Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse with the CNO
- PLP Coverage
- Thorough knowledge and proficiency in current nursing principles and practices
- 3-5 years broad-based practical nursing experience - a community primary health care setting considered an asset
- Treat each client with compassion, dignity and respect even in th
- Computer proficiency with electronic charting (PSS EMR considered an asset)
- Knowledge of Ontario’s Routine Immunization Schedule
- Current BCLS certification
