Job Summary

General Labourer

Westpoint Cutting & Design Ltd. is a complete fabrication company located in Acheson. Supplying products for the automotive, oil and gas, as well as a number of other industries. We are currently looking for a motivated General Labourer to assist with various jobs in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

- Cutting, sanding and prepping material.
- Preparing or assisting with parts to be welded.
- Cut, punch, drill, bend or otherwise prepare material as needed for projects.
- Assemble parts and finished products.
- Assist in moving components and finished parts.
- Assisting welders, and CNC operators with miscellaneous duties as requested.
- Operating of basic hand tools and powered hand tools, including a bandsaw.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment at all times.
- Other duties as required.
- Forklift operation in confined spaces.

Requirements:





- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to take direction with assisting other employees in various tasks as requested.
- Ability to communicate well and perform physically demanding work.
- Must be able to comfortably lift 50lbs in a regular basis.
- Previous forklift experience.
- Small power tool operation, drills, bandsaw, grinders, ect.
- MUST be able to read a tape measure accurately.

Must have reliable transportation to commute to work everyday

Mon- Fri 8-4:30.
