High School Student Needed for Educational Assessment Practice Session

Pay: $50/hour
Duration: Approximately 4 hours (one-time session)
Location: Nanaimo, Ladysmith or Duncan Libraries

Job Description

I am a graduate student completing a Master's program in Education and am seeking a high school student participant for a practice educational assessment session.

The purpose of this session is to allow me to practice administering a standardized educational assessment as part of my university coursework. This is a learning activity only and is not intended to provide a formal diagnosis, evaluation, or educational recommendations.

Requirements

- Currently enrolled in Grades 8-12
- Able to participate in a single 4-hour session at a local library (including breaks as needed)
- Parent/guardian consent required for participants under 19 years of age
- Comfortable completing academic tasks related to reading, writing,



math, and problem-solving

Compensation

- $50 per hour
- Total compensation: $200 for the full session

Key Information

- The assessment is for training and educational purposes only.
- Results will be kept confidential and used solely for coursework requirements.
- Participation is completely voluntary.
- Parent/guardian consent forms will be provided and must be completed before participation.
