Job Description: Service / Parts Advisor

Position Summary

The Service / Parts Advisor supports the daily operations of both the Service and Parts Departments, providing excellent customer service, coordinating repairs and parts requirements, and ensuring an organized and efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers, schedule service appointments, and assist with repair inquiries.
- Open and manage repair orders, communicate service updates, and coordinate customer pick-up and delivery.
- Communicate with technicians to understand repair needs and provide customers with updates and recommendations.
- Assist retail and wholesale customers, as well as shop mechanics, with parts inquiries and purchases.
- Receive, put away, pull, and organize parts accurately.
- Coordinate parts requirements between the Parts and Service Departments.
- Assist with parts returns, phone calls, and order follow-ups.
- Complete computer work using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Create and maintain parts listings on Facebook and Kijiji.
- Maintain a clean,



organized work area and assist with other duties as required.

Qualifications

- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Basic computer knowledge, including Word, Excel, Facebook, and Kijiji.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Automotive dealership, service, or parts experience is an asset.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.

Overall Goal: Provide excellent customer service while ensuring the Parts and Service Departments operate efficiently and professionally.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $45,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

- Arnprior, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- Automotive Parts: 1 year (required)

Language:

- English fluently (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers license w/ clean abstract (required)
