About the Opportunity

IS2 Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) with AutoCAD experience on behalf of a well-established manufacturing client in Barrie.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with technical drawings, coordinating with multiple departments, and supporting projects from design through to production. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of CAD drafting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to balance technical accuracy with customer and production needs.

Responsibilities

Create, revise, and maintain detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.

*
Review and interpret customer specifications, engineering drawings, and design requirements.

*
Verify dimensions, materials, and design details to ensure accuracy.

*
Manage drawing revisions, electronic files, and technical documentation.

*
Distribute updated drawings and documentation to production, engineering, and project teams.

*
Collaborate with engineering, sales, production, and project management departments.

*
Provide technical support related to drawings and product specifications.

*
Assist with resolving design-related issues and identifying opportunities to improve drafting processes.

*
Maintain accurate project records and follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

*
Diploma or certificate in CAD Technology,



Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, Mechanical Design, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.

*
Minimum 2 years of CAD drafting or technical design experience.

*
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.

*
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

*
Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings.

*
Robust mathematical skills, including geometry and measurement conversions.

*
Manufacturing, engineering, architectural, or industrial experience is an asset.
