We are seeking a detail-oriented; safety focused Freezer Team Lead to oversee day-to-day freezer operations. In this leadership role, you will supervisor order assembly, train staff, manage inventory and documentation and ensure all health and safety policies are strictly maintained in a cold-storage environment (-18°C).
Pay Rate: $20.00-$25.00 CAD per hour
Monday to Friday 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Training: Supervise freezer staff, train team members in safe picking and operational methods.
- Order Assembly & Quality Control: Oversee the accurate, defect-free picking and palletizing of customer orders; inspect product condition, code dating, and report discrepancies.
- Shipping & Receiving: Oversee the preparation, staging, and processing of shipments, and problem-solve missing documents or delivery issues.
- Equipment Operation & Safety: Safely operate warehouse equipment (such as Walkies and forklifts); maintain a clean, organized work area adhering to all safety regulations and PPE requirements.
Qualifications & Technical Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent; Forklift/Reach truck certification.
- Certifications: Raymond Walkie Ride-on required.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Math Skills: Basic mathematical proficiency.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Environmental Conditions: Ability to work comfortably in cold temperatures (-18°C).
- Physical Demands: Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Teamwork & Efficiency: Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
