Overview

We are looking someone for the Vancouver Christmas Market As a Food and Beverage Attendant, you’ll prepare and serve food and beverages, welcome guests, and support smooth daily service. You’ll use POS systems to process orders and payments, maintain clean service areas, and work with colleagues to provide a welcoming, productive dining experience.

Responsibilities

- Take guest orders, answer questions, serve items accurately, and use customer service skills to support a positive visit.
- Prepare food and beverages, follow food handling and food safety practices, and maintain sanitation standards in service and kitchen areas.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS where used; handle cash and payments, complete cashiering tasks, and apply basic math accurately.




- Manage time across changing service needs and suggest suitable additional items through thoughtful upselling.

Experience

Required: Practical food preparation, serving, food handling, sanitation, time management, basic math, and customer service capabilities support safe, accurate service and payment handling. Preferred: Food service, restaurant, food industry, or kitchen experience; familiarity with Micros POS, cashiering, cash handling, and upselling is an advantage. Your impact: Attentive, safe service helps guests enjoy their visit and enables colleagues to keep operations running smoothly.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
