Wildwood Masonry LTD

is seeking an experienced Bricklayer for a full-time permanent position starting right away to join our crew in Minto Nb on the new correctional Facility. Possibility of work on other projects throughout the province as well. Travel pay available depending on location

We complete various projects within:

· Current Construction

· Repair

· Commercial

· Industrial

· Inspection

· Restoration

Tasks

· Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units

· Estimate materials, tools and equipment required for projects

· Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing

· Construct and install prefabricated masonry units

· Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required

· Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages

· Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools

· Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces

· Read blueprints and drawings

· Ensure health and safety regulations are followed

· Set up machines and equipment

· Supervise labourers when required

Requirements:

· 5 years experience as a certified bricklayer laying brick, block, or stone masonry units

· Trade certificate or diploma





· Bricklayer Trade Certification / Bricklayer Red Seal Certificate

· Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

· Working at heights training

· English language proficiency

· Valid driver's license

· Willing to travel

· Have own tools, steel-toed safety boots, hard hat and safety glasses/goggles

· Able to work under pressure

· Organized and a team player

· Reliable and available to work from 07:30 to 16:30

This position requires travel to work sites throughout New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
