Centretown Parent’s Cooperative Daycare is co-operative, non-profit, childcare centre, licensed under the Ministry of Education. We recognize that the early years can be strongly influenced to set a positive, healthy foundation for years to come, and value the role educators’ play in this important developmental period. JOB DESCRIPTION: Work as part of a 2-person team, responsible for the safety, education and wellbeing of up to Kinder/school age children. Program planning and implementation of a creative after school program during regular school days and full day program during the summer, March Break, Winter break, and PD days. Planning and supervision of outdoor play, coordination, with school staff and ensure that all Ministry of Education guidelines are met.





QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE: ECE diploma or degree and membership in the College of ECE is Asset. Knowledge of the ELECT framework/HDLH and early years act. Recent Police Vulnerable sector check is required (within 6 months). Current Standard First Aid/Child/CPR C is required. Updated immunizations are required. WHMIS training an asset. Kindergarten/School age experience an asset
