Our dedicated kitchen not only prepares hot meals, sandwiches and treats but also stocks our shelves with ready meals, baked goods, and more.

We're looking for a dedicated Cook to join our friendly kitchen team in this unique setting—away from the usual restaurant grind. If you have a passion for cooking or baking and take pride in producing quality food, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety guidelines and sanitation standards.
- Assist with ingredient prep and kitchen organisation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.




- Maintain portion control and minimise food waste.

Experience

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment operation.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.
- A passion for cooking.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
