Home Comfort Advisor (HVAC)

Terms of Employment: Full Time

Salary: Commission - Successful advisers can make 60K to 100K plus per year.

Location: Ottawa, Ontario

Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP

Experience: Minimum 3 years of previous sales experience - experienced and comfortable with boilers and ductwork

Languages: Must speak, write and read English fluently with excellent respectful communication skills. Ability to speak French is a strong asset.

Area of work: In home sales, weekdays, evenings and weekends

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driver's validity license check

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license, use of your own vehicle

Additional Qualifications:

- Superior communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to close sales




- Ability to perform heat load calculations
- Ability to represent Advanced HVAC Inc. in a professional manner with customers, vendors, staff and the general public
- Work well under pressure
- Ability to handle difficult customer/installer/technician issues
- Adaptability—the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
- Ability to use and learn computer CRM system
- Punctual

Job Requirements:

- Be available to perform in home consultations when clients are available, including evenings and weekends.
- Attend Sales and technical training to learn the products we offer
- Assist with marketing
- Attend all sales meetings
- Follow sales process
- Follow up on all leads provided
- Ability to close sales

Job Types: Full-time, Commission

Pay: $60,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
