Job Summary

As a Pet Store Associate, you’ll help customers choose suitable products, support daily store operations, and keep merchandise organized and appealing. You’ll provide friendly, informed service while contributing to a welcoming shopping experience for pets and their people.

Responsibilities

- Assist customers with product questions, demonstrate items, and recommend options that fit their needs.
- Process purchases and returns using the POS system; handle cash accurately and apply basic math.
- Restock and merchandise products, maintain organized displays, and help keep the store ready for customers.
- Support retail sales through attentive service and appropriate upselling; answer calls with professional phone etiquette.
- Your impact: Clear product guidance helps customers make confident choices and supports smooth teamwork.

Skills

Required:



Clear communication, customer service, basic math, time management, organizational skills, and the ability to use POS technology and handle cash accurately are important for serving customers and completing store tasks. English proficiency supports clear assistance and accurate transactions. Preferred: Retail sales, cashiering, merchandising, product demonstrations, technology sales, technical sales experience, upselling, and bilingual or multilingual abilities can strengthen customer support and help the team serve a broader range of shoppers.

Pay: $17.95-$19.00 per hour
