Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled, organized Medical Office Assistant to support daily front-desk and administrative operations in a healthcare setting. The successful candidate will help create a welcoming experience for patients while keeping records, appointments, and office workflows accurate and up to date. Medical office, dental office, or general office experience is valued.

Duties

- Welcome patients, assist with check-in and check-out, and direct them to the appropriate staff or services.
- Answer and route calls using a multi-line phone system; respond to routine questions and relay messages.
- Schedule, confirm, and update appointments, and help maintain an organized calendar.
- Collect and verify patient information, update records, and maintain confidentiality.
- Enter and retrieve information in electronic medical records systems, such as Epic or Dentrix.
- Support routine administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, document preparation,



and record organization.
- Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and colleagues.
- Follow office procedures and applicable privacy and safety practices.

Skills

- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy front-desk environment.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical records.
- Experience with Health quest/ minimum 2 years
- medical office experience is preferred.
- Front desk, office, or administrative experience is beneficial.
- Comfort using multi-line phone systems and standard office software.
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and work collaboratively with a healthcare team.

Pay: $17.50-$19.00 per hour
