Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Food Service Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving food, handling transactions, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the food industry while providing exceptional service to our customers. Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The Food Service Worker plays a vital role in maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Manage cashier duties including processing payments accurately and efficiently
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed in compliance with safety regulations
- Assist with upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and sales




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery
- Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines to uphold health standards

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Basic math skills for managing cash handling and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in food preparation, serving, or cashiering roles is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
