We are seeking dedicated and reliable General Labourers (GL) on behalf of our client. In this role, you will perform a variety of manual tasks to support warehouse operations and equipment handling. The ideal candidate will possess strong physical stamina, ability to lift 50 pounds, positive communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and a proactive attitude to ensure smooth workflow and safety compliance. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in heavy equipment operation, warehouse management systems, and logistics processes within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Labour, Packing & Assembling
- Order Picking and stocking
- Working with hand tools such as screwdrivers and hand drills
- Lifting 40 to 50 pounds
- Load and unload materials
- Working in a fast paced working environment, long standing periods, ability to lift upto 50 pounds, meeting production goals and deadlines
- Assist with order picking and inventory management within the warehouse
- Support shipping and receiving activities by preparing goods for dispatch or receipt
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals
- Follow safety protocols diligently and report hazards or incidents promptly
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving environments
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
