Assistant Condominium Manager, Sapphire Condominium Management (remote)
Remote (work from home), with site visits to client buildings in Southwestern Ontario
Full time | $27.00 to $32.00 per hour, based on experience | CMRAO limited licence is an asset
ABOUT US
Sapphire Condominium Management is a small condo management company serving London, Sarnia and Southwestern Ontario. We started Sapphire because too many boards were stuck chasing their own manager. Our promise to boards is simple: we answer the phone, we reply fast, and we finish what we start.
We're a small team, and we're growing quickly. Right now we're taking on a number of new corporations, so this is a real seat on a team that's building something, not a spot in a large office.
WHY JOIN US
We'll be honest: we're small. That's the opportunity.
At a big firm you'd likely do one job, the same way, for years. Here you'll be part of a growing business. You'll learn a lot of different roles and skills, and you'll be exposed to things you may not see anywhere else: taking on new buildings, helping shape how we work, and seeing how a management company actually runs from the inside. If you want to grow into a full condo manager role, this is a great place to do it.
A few other things we think matter:
- Learn from experienced managers. You'll work alongside our condo managers on real buildings, board meetings and budgets, and build the experience you need to grow your licence and your career.
- Tools that take the busywork off your plate. We're a technology first company. We use effective systems to handle the repetitive work, so you can spend your time on boards, owners and buildings. We run our buildings on UpperBee (our management platform).
- Work from home. This role is remote, with visits to buildings when the job calls for it.
- A team that backs you up. You'll work closely with our CEO, our operations director and our financial director,
and you won't be left on your own.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You'll support our condo managers in keeping our buildings safe, well maintained and running smoothly, and you'll be a friendly, reliable contact for owners, residents and vendors. Day to day, that means:
- Supporting the day-to-day operations, maintenance and administration of our condominium corporations
- Coordinating repairs, work orders, quotes and service contracts
- Helping prepare budgets, and tracking each corporation's finances and invoices
- Preparing for and attending board meetings and AGMs, including agendas, packages and minutes
- Handling owner and resident questions and concerns, quickly and kindly
- Helping keep our corporations compliant with the Condominium Act and other rules
- Keeping accurate records and files
- Visiting buildings when needed
As you grow, you'll take on more of your own buildings and boards.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- A CMRAO limited licence is an asset, or a willingness to get licensed
- Experience in condo or property management is an asset, but not required
- Comfort with property management software. UpperBee experience is a bonus, and we'll teach you if you haven't used it.
- Clear, friendly writing and phone manner. Boards choose us because we respond, so this matters a lot.
- Strong organization. You'll juggle several buildings, meetings and deadlines at once.
- A valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle for site visits
- Willingness to learn technology tools
PAY AND TERMS
- $27.00 to $32.00 per hour, based on experience
- Full-time, minimum 39 hours a week, Monday to Friday
- Some evening board meetings and AGMs
- 3 weeks' paid vacation a year, plus Ontario statutory holidays
- Start date: mid to late November 2026
