As a Class 1 driver, you will transport freight safely and reliably, supporting smooth deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Drive commercial vehicles to transport freight between designated locations, following applicable road rules and secure driving practices.
- Check loads and vehicle condition before and during journeys, reporting issues promptly and keeping delivery records accurate.
- Coordinate with dispatch about schedules, freight handling, and delivery updates to support dependable service.
- Use relevant equipment safely when required, including forklifts or other heavy equipment, and assist with basic automotive repair tasks where appropriate.
Experience
