HVAC Operations Manager - Founding Team - Ottawa

OVERVIEW

We are launching a mechanical contractor/ HVAC business serving the Ottawa region, with a focus on sustainable products: heat pumps, heating and cooling systems, and high-quality residential and commercial installations.

We're looking to connect with an experienced HVAC professional who is interested in helping shape the technical and operational side of a new venture and lead a team of technicians.

THE OPPORTUNITY

- Help refine our initial service offering, equipment strategy and installation standards.
- Advise on contractor relationships, technical requirements, quality assurance and customer experience.
- Help build a reliable, customer-focused operation from the ground up.
- Take on a leadership role as the business grows.

WHO WE’RE HOPING TO MEET

- An experienced HVAC technician, installer, service professional or field supervisor.
- Strong practical knowledge of residential and / or commercial HVAC, including heat pumps and cold-climate systems, with the necessary licenses (313A, 313D, TSSA G1 or G2).
- Someone who cares about technical quality, customer service, the planet and doing things right.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and an interest in helping build something, rather than simply joining an established operation.

This is an active early-stage venture building its founding team in Ottawa. As we finalize our launch roadmap, scope, and specific role structures,



we are seeking high-caliber technical leaders to discuss strategic fit and shared long-term objectives.

COMPENSATION

Compensation is to be discussed and would be competitive and based on experience, including benefits.

Pay: $100,000.00-$130,000.00 per year

Experience:

- HVAC/heatpumps: 5 years (required)
- field supervision / leadership: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- 313A, 313D, and / or TSSA Gas Technician (G1 or G2) license (required)
