TRALO Heating & Cooling was named the fastest-growing company in Ottawa by the Ottawa Business Journal two years in a row, and we're growing our Ottawa sales team. We're looking for competitive, coachable people who want to earn serious money selling heat pumps and HVAC systems to homeowners.

If you've done door-to-door sales in any industry (telecom, solar, fundraising, security or home services), you're exactly who we're looking for. You won't be knocking doors here, but that same drive is what makes our reps successful. No HVAC experience needed. We'll teach you our process.

The earnings are real

Our average system is about $15,000. You earn a minimum of $1,500 per sale, and with bonuses our reps average about $2,000 per deal. Reps who put in the work make six figures in their first year, and our top performers earn $200,000–$300,000 a year.

How the job works

There is no door knocking in this role. All lead generation is done by phone. For your first two weeks, you'll learn our process on the phones: calling Facebook leads, cold calling homeowners, and rebooking past appointments. That's how you earn the right to start running your own in-home sales appointments, usually around week 3 or 4. From there you run the appointments and close them. We give you the script and the training. Once you hit your first promotion, we start giving you pre-booked appointments with interested homeowners, so you spend more of your time closing. How quick you get there is up to you. We'll walk you through the exact promotion path in your interview.

You're a fit if you

- Have door-to-door or in-home commission sales experience in any industry (telecom, solar, fundraising, security, home services). The longer you've done it, the better.
- Are competitive and care more about what you can earn than a guaranteed paycheque
- Are comfortable making cold calls to build your own business
- Are coachable and willing to follow a proven system
- Have a valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle
- Can work Monday to Saturday, including some evenings

Sales experience helps, and so does background in retail, serving, bartending, fitness, or any job where you had to earn it face to face. Recent grads are welcome.
