Lead a Pharmacy Where You Make a Real Difference Every Day
Valley Health Pharmacies is looking for an experienced, community-minded pharmacist to step into the Designated Manager role at our Chesterville location. This is a chance to run your own pharmacy, with the backing of an established multi-location group that supports you.
Chesterville is not a typical pharmacy. It’s a retail and retirement home split, so you get the best of both worlds. You’ll build relationships with community patients at the counter, and you’ll also provide clinical care to seniors in the retirement homes we serve. You’ll see the impact of your work in your patients’ health, safety and quality of life. If you’ve been looking for a role with variety, autonomy and purpose, this is it.
What We Offer
- $70–$80/hour, based on experience
- Performance bonuses
- Health and dental perks
- Paid vacation / PTO
- Life insurance and disability premium coverage
- Paid OCP registration fees and liability insurance
- Continuing education support
- Real autonomy to shape how your pharmacy runs
- A supportive, hands-on ownership team. You won’t be left on your own.
- A close-knit team and a loyal community patient base
- Less than an hour from Ottawa, with small-town living and no big-city burnout

Retail patient care
- Dispense and verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently

- Counsel patients, and work with local prescribers to deliver excellent care
Retirement home pharmacy services
- Oversee compliance packaging and medication delivery for retirement home residents
- Act as the clinical pharmacist contact for partner homes. This includes medication reviews, deprescribing recommendations and answering staff questions.
