The Steel frame and drywall role supports construction, renovation, and restoration work by assembling steel framing and installing drywall. You’ll use tools and construction knowledge to help create sound, well-finished spaces and keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
Duties
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand layouts, measurements, and installation requirements.
- Assemble and position steel framing; install drywall, siding, and related materials using hand and power tools.
- Assist with concrete forming and finishing, carpentry, woodworking, welding, and restoration tasks as project needs require.
- Handle heavy materials and support heavy equipment operation in accordance with site procedures.

Skills
Required: Practical ability to use hand and power tools, read blueprints or schematics, handle heavy lifting, and perform framing and drywall tasks safely and accurately. Preferred: Construction experience, with related strengths in carpentry, woodworking, concrete forming or finishing, restoration, siding, welding, and heavy equipment operation.
