Skilled Labourer - Residential Construction

Prince Edward County Contracting is a local residential construction company specializing in quality renovations, including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, tiling, carpentry, and more. We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Skilled Labourer to join our tight-knit team on a permanent basis.

What You’ll Do:

- Assist the Foreman and crew with various residential construction tasks
- Work with hand tools and power tools on concrete finishing, tile installation, painting, drywall, framing, and finish carpentry
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Perform caulking, cabinet installation, and general site tasks
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Contribute to high-quality renovation projects from start to finish

What We’re Looking For:

- Experience using hand and power tools in a construction setting
- Background in any of the following is a big plus: concrete finishing, tiling, drywall, painting, framing, or finish carpentry
- Ability to read blueprints/schematics
- Knowledge of residential construction practices




- Willingness to work with mínimal supervision while following directions closely
- Special skills in tiling or carpentry will be given solid preference
- Experience with construction estimating or restoration is an asset
- Operating heavy equipment is a plus (but not required)

Requirements :

- Reliable transportation to job sites in Prince Edward County and surrounding areas
- Physically fit and able to handle manual labour (lifting, bending, working outdoors when needed)
- Safety-conscious with a strong work ethic
- Positive attitude and team player
