We are looking for a reliable Part Time employee to join our team at Newcastle Marina for 2 days per week. (Tuesdays & Thursdays)
Key Responsibilities: The shipyard labourer will assist in the day-to-day operations of the shipyard. This position is ideal for an individual with a solid worth ethic and a willingness to work in a physical demanding environment
Assisting with lifting and blocking of Boats.
Power washing & Painting
Ensuring equipment is stored and yard is clean.
Requirements Skills and Qualifications : Ability to work as a team and be self directed
Follow Safety Protocols and wear personal protective equipment
Must have good time management skills
Ability to work in outdoors & physically demanding conditions.
Willingness to learn a new variety of tasks
Previous experience with boats is a plus but not mandatory
The Part Time position is available immediately, Tuesdays & Thursdays, and is seasonal.
Extra hours may become available to cover open shifts
