Avery HR is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator/Order Picker to support daily warehouse operations. This hands-on role involves moving, picking, and staging products using Counterbalance and Reach forklifts. The successful candidate will help maintain accurate inventory, prepare orders for shipment, and ensure warehouse operations run safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and stage products.
- Pick, verify, and prepare orders ensuring accuracy of items and quantities.
- Use a warehouse management system (WMS) to review assignments, track inventory movements, and update order status.
- Complete routine equipment inspections and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow proper material-handling and safety procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

- Practical experience operating Counterbalance and Reach forklifts.




- Valid license for Counterbalance and Reach forklifts.
- Previous experience in warehouse distribution or order fulfillment.
- Basic math skills to verify product quantities and order accuracy.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy items as required.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform equipment checks and identify potential issues.

In-house forklift licenses are not accepted.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Experience:

- warehouse and distribution: 2 years (required)
- Forklift and order picking: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Counterbalance forklift license (required)
- Reach forklift license (required)
