We are recruiting Registered Health Care Aide(s) for a unique opportunity with a teenage client in Nelson, BC

This job entails working a 4 hour shift per week with the client. Duties may include providing 1:1 care in the home environment, supporting a client with light home cleaning including laundry, bed making, ADL care including personal care, bathing, dressing, lifts/transfers, healthy meal preparation, behavioral intervention, life/social skills. community outings/neighborhood outings.

Experience with individuals with diverse abilities an asset

Qualifications:

- Health Care Aides require registration with the BC Care Aide Registry
- Valid CPR ‘C’ / BLS certification
- First Aid
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.




- Strong verbal and written and interpersonal communication skills.
