WirelessFix is a mobile phone and electronics repair shop located in Mississauga, Ontario. We specialize in diagnosing and repairing smartphones, tablets, computers, and other electronic devices, providing services ranging from screen and battery replacements to advanced motherboard diagnostics and component-level repairs.

We are looking for an experienced Electronics Repair Technician specializing in Microsoldering and Motherboard Repair to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience diagnosing complex electronic faults, performing precision microsoldering, and repairing smartphone logic boards. This position requires technical troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to complete repairs independently while maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic faults in smartphones, tablets, and other supported electronic devices.
- Perform advanced motherboard and printed circuit board (PCB) repairs using precision microsoldering techniques.
- Identify and repair short circuits, damaged integrated circuits (ICs), defective connectors, and power-management or charging-related faults.
- Repair or replace surface-mounted components (SMD), connectors, and other defective electronic components.
- Use diagnostic equipment including microscopes, multimeters, DC power supplies, soldering stations, and hot-air rework tools.
- Read and interpret electronic schematics, circuit diagrams, and board layouts to identify faults and determine suitable repair procedures.
- Diagnose and repair no-power, boot-loop, charging, and liquid-damage-related hardware issues.
- Inspect, test, and verify repaired devices to ensure proper functionality and quality.
- Maintain accurate records of diagnostic findings, repair procedures, replacement components, and testing results.
- Follow electrical safety, electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection, and safe equipment-handling procedures.




- Assist with general smartphone and electronic device repairs, including screen, battery, and charging-port replacements, when required.

Qualifications and Skills

- Proven hands-on experience in electronic device repair, particularly smartphone motherboard diagnostics and component-level repair.
- Proficiency in microsoldering, SMD component replacement, and PCB troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of electronic circuits, electrical components, and low-voltage electronic systems.
- Experience using microscopes, multimeters, DC power supplies, soldering stations, and other electronic diagnostic tools.
- Ability to interpret electronic schematics and troubleshoot complex hardware faults.
- Familiarity with iPhone and Android smartphone logic boards and common hardware failures.
- Relevant electronics education, technical training, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to repair quality.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage repair tasks.
- Good communication and organizational skills.

Compensation and Work Conditions

- Pay: $28.00 per hour
- Employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
- Location: 5200 Dixie Road, Mississauga, Ontario
- Work Arrangement: On-site
