Charlec Epoxy Flooring – Vancouver, BC

Charlec Epoxy Flooring is a growing concrete coatings company based in Vancouver, specializing in concrete resinous coatings and concrete polishing for residential, commercial, and industrial applications — including epoxy, flake, metallic, polyaspartic, and urethane cement systems.

We are looking for a motivated individual with some industry experience who wants to learn the trade properly and grow into a full technician role with us.

- Who Can Apply:
- Age 15 to 30
- Identify as a person of color / racialized youth
- Currently unemployed, or prepared to leave any part-time employment upon joining the program
- valid driver liscence

Job Responsibilities

- Assist with concrete preparation and grinding on commercial and industrial job sites
- Help install resinous coating systems (epoxy, polyaspartic, metallic, urethane cement) and polished concrete floors
- Mix materials under supervision, learning proper ratios, timing, and recoat windows
- Support senior technicians and follow direction in office
- Help maintain equipment (grinders, vacuums, generators) and keep the job site organized
- Travel to job sites across Greater Vancouver and surrounding areas




- Gradually take on more responsibility as skills develop

Work Details

- Team meets at the Vancouver/Richmond shop each morning before traveling to job sites
- Work includes both preparation/grinding days and installation days
- Job sites vary across Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, and surrounding areas

Youth program
This position is offered in partnership with a youth employment program that includes paid training before you start. We especially encourage applications from youth (15–30) who are not currently working, as well as Indigenous, Black and racialized youth.

Career Progression & Ongoing Development

After completing the initial program and Red Seal coursework, your development doesn't stop—you will continue receiving structured, on-the-job training directly with our team. As you master our specialized flooring systems and gain full independence on job sites, your role will expand. Once fully proficient, team members are eligible for higher-earning piece-work rates and skill-based performance rewards.

Start Date: Immediate — enrolment for the youth trade program start on November 8

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
