The Chance

Greenstaff Medical Canada is currently recruiting Mobile Diagnostic Medical Sonographers for opportunities in London, Ontario.

The successful candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using mobile ultrasound equipment, providing on-site imaging services at assigned healthcare locations. This role is ideal for Sonographers who enjoy working in different clinical environments and delivering high-quality, patient-focused diagnostic imaging services.

What You'll Do

- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using mobile ultrasound equipment.
- Travel to assigned healthcare locations within London to provide on-site imaging services.
- Conduct ultrasound examinations according to physician requests and established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Review patient histories and clinical indications before examinations.
- Operate portable ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently.
- Apply appropriate scanning techniques and protocols to optimize image quality.
- Obtain accurate measurements and maintain complete examination documentation.
- Recognize abnormal findings and ensure appropriate images are documented for physician review.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.




- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and ultrasound safety protocols.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues as required.
- Work independently while maintaining effective communication with the healthcare team.

What We're Looking For

You'll be a great fit if you have:

- A recognized diploma or degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Active registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) in the applicable sonography specialty.
- Applicable Sonography Canada certification in the relevant specialty.
- Previous experience performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
- Experience operating portable or mobile ultrasound equipment is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound physics, patient positioning, image optimization, and diagnostic imaging protocols.
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different clinical environments.
- Flexibility to travel to assigned healthcare locations within London.
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation, where required by the assignment.
- New graduates are welcome to apply, provided they meet the applicable registration requirements.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
