TEMPORARY FULL-TIME CONTRACT (Hiring for 2026-2027 School Season)

We are seeking a very motivated, outgoing, punctual, accountable and responsible person to represent our company in a professional manner and to provide School Bus Safety presentations for children JK to grade 8 in the Elementary Schools across Thunder Bay, Sudbury, Sault Ste Marie, Nipissing-Parry Sound, and surrounding areas (North Ontario Region). *THIS POSITION REQUIRES MANY OVERNIGHT STAYS, INCLUDING WEEKENDS*

Intertrain Incorporated is the premier provider of all in-school, School Bus Rider Safety programs for Elementary Schools across Ontario. Since 2003 we have been providing our programs to school boards across Ontario. We work hard to develop top-notch programs and provide schools with a hassle-free, fun experience.

The successful candidates MUST have the following qualifications:

- Ability to present a professional presentation
- Ability to read and speak English fluently (Equivalent to First Language level)
- Experience working with children in large groups (assembly style) of up to 250 students per presentation
- Ability to act, role play, organize, and sing along to children’s songs
- Highly motivated & positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to operate audio visual equipment
- Good physical health, ability to lift and transport 60+ pounds of heavy presentation equipment, including up and down stairs,



on a daily basis
- Provide a Negative VSR (Police Vulnerable Sector Report)
- Valid Drivers License (minimum G2)
- Own reliable insured vehicle – will be used to carry our equipment daily

Typical work day at schools is between 7:00 am and 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday (Driving time not included). Total daily hours of work vary but Presenters must be available to work between 7:00am - 3:30pm to be paid the daily rate. If no schools are booked for a day, as long as the Presenter was available to work between 7:00am - 3:30pm, they will be paid the full day's $158.40 rate.

Job Types: Full-time Temporary Contract, Seasonal

Contract length: 4-5 months (approximately)

Pay: $164.74 per day

Advantages:

- Automobile allowance ($0.25 cents/km) to cover for gas and wear & tear. Mileage is calculated from your home - to the first school - to the second school (if scheduled) - back to your home. We pay for your mileage to go to work!!
