We are looking for someone to join our Taproom team! Our ideal candidate will be someone who knows and loves craft beer and is familiar with the Winnipeg brewing scene. You'll pour beer and entertain guests in our taproom, bartend for private and public events, and be a brand ambassador for Torque!

- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options
- Use POS system to track orders and tabs
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Engage with customers in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations
- Prepare simple snacks for taproom guests (Popcorn, pretzels)
- Occasionally run sampling events at outside venues

- Hospitality experience is preferred.
- Sales experience is an asset
- Gift of gab
- Attention to detail and ability to follow checklists




- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper alcohol serving protocols
- Mixology is an asset, but we are willing to train
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management
- Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude and energetic demeanor
