We are actively seeking to add licensed full time 310T Diesel Mechanic/Technician to join our growing team. With direct supervision from a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor, a Service Technician is responsible to diagnose, perform repairs and maintenance work on all types of company equipment and other vehicles within Ministry/DOT standards including, but not limited to, chassis components, vehicle control systems, hydraulic electrical, air brake systems, general engine work, HVAC components, suspension, drive train and steering systems. The Service Technician may also perform basic tire work, such as replacement, tire rotation, and tread depth checks.

Job Duties:

- Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment
- Review work orders, communicate with drivers to troubleshoot and diagnose malfunction and plan work procedures.
- Identify the source of the malfunctions using a variety of electronic tools.
- Discuss required work with Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to plan and order parts
- Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components outside warranty coverage.
- Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
- Call, schedule and deliver vehicles for outsourced work repairs or warranty work
- Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance
- Perform MTO/DOT safety inspections
- Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance duties
- Work with dispatcher and driver to maintain all regular service schedules for each vehicle are completed in a timely manner
- Maintain shop equipment clean and in good safe operating order
- Maintain and keep work area clean and safe
- Ensure compliance of all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Valid 310T license
- Valid Driver's License
- Motivated and Dependable
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Must bring tooling
